Occupants of Abesan Estate in the Ipaja region of Lagos have been tossed into disarray after a man, Nelson Oamen, was said to have cut his dad, Ehiremen Oamen, to death amid a squabble.
As indicated by PUNCH, Nelson who supposedly fled his dad's flat in Block 272 after the occurrence on Friday, uprooted the septuagenarian's heart and left with it.
It was accumulated that the father, said to be a resigned specialist in an organization in Apapa, was doing combating with stroke, and generally remained inside.
Oamens, who hailed from Edo State, is currently on the run.
PUNCH learnt that 34-year-old Nelson, who made not have a steady showing, was allegedly a medication fiend, and had fierce conflicts with individuals in the territory which were accounted for to the police.
Our journalist learnt that at around 2pm on Friday, Nelson had gone to his dad's condo and a contention had followed between the two.
Nelson, why should suspected be high on medications, supposedly wounded his dad to death in his room, and secured his body with a cover.
He was said to have sneaked out of the house and had yet to be found.
Nelson's more youthful sister, who did not need her name in print, apparently came into the house a couple of minutes after the fact, and discovered hints of blood in the family's living room.
She was said to have found their fater's carcass on his bed, after which she raised the alert.
It was assembled that a few neighbors and occupants, who likewise hurried to the space to see Ehiremen, understood that there was a profound opening on the left half of his mid-section after he had been wounded in a few spots.

She included that Ehiremen had been physically assaulted by Nelson previously.
She said, "For around five years now, father had been nursing a stroke, and he couldn't work once more. Thus, he used to stay at home. Nelson did not have a steady area. He just went to the range on Friday.
"I was informed that he came in through the window before submitting the demonstration. It was his more youthful sister, who has a shop in the range, and arrived in no time flat later to put on something else, who initially watched bloodstains in the living room.
"She then followed the bloodstains to daddy's room, and figured out that he had been murdered. We have not seen any indication of Nelson from that point forward."
Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Joe Offor, said the police were on the trail of Nelson and would soon get him.
