President Buhari Appoints Self As Petroleum Minister

 

President Buhari while tending to some select correspondents in New York on Tuesday, subsequent to tending to a Global Leaders' Summit on Countering ISIL and Violent Extremism, he will remain the Minister of Petroleum.

He said the stride is being taken as a major aspect of endeavors to sterilize Nigeria's oil industry which is said to be tormented by defilement, monstrous misrepresentation, and raw petroleum burglary. He said:
"I will stay Minister of Petroleum.
"I will choose a pastor of State for Petroleum".
Buhari restated his determination to sterilize Nigeria's oil industry and free it from debasement and make more straightforwardness.
He said that his initial phase in disinfecting the petroleum area has as of now started with the arrangement of another administration for the NNPC and said that the arraignment of the individuals who misused NNPC's trusts is now in progress.
