Derek Jeter and Hannah Davis Are Engaged: "They Can't Wait to Spend Their Lives Together"

 

The 41-year-old retired New York Yankees star and the 25-year-old 2015 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover model are engaged.

"They are extremely excited and in love!" a source told E! News on Wednesday.

"They can't wait to spend their lives together." Jeter and Davis have been linked romantically for about three years.

The two have largely kept their relationship private.

Davis dodged a question about Jeter in an interview on NBC's Today show in February.

Jeter and Davis had sparked engagement rumors back in 2013, when the model was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her ring finger.

Jeter told NBC News in September 2014, the month he retired from Major League Baseball, he he wants a family once his Hall of Fame career is over.
