Kebbi State First Lady Adopts Daughter of a Mentally Challenged Woman

 

Wife of Kebbi State Governor, Zainab Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, yesterday adopted the daughter of a mentally challenged woman who once roamed the streets of Birnin Kebbi in Kebbi State.

The girl who was previously known as Siddiqa Bako was taken in by the First Lady, who then renamed her Siddiqa Abubakar Atikua Bagudu, after the family.
Also, the First Lady, a medical doctor herself, referred Sidika’s mother to a Kebbi hospital, where she is currently being rehabilitated.
