Custom Officers Caught Receiving Bribe in Port Harcourt

 

The anti-corruption war of the Buhari-led administration is yet to ring home for 2 custom officers who were caught on camera receiving bribe at the Port Harcourt Airport.


The clip which has been circulated and uploaded on streaming device YouTube, showed the corrupt officers inspecting some papers with one of them asking one of the 3 men whose papers were being inspected “Where the thing now? E dey hard you to bring?” and then shouting “Take! Take!!!” in annoyance after being offered a few N1000 notes which he forcefully squeezed back into the hand of the giver who was trying to refuse collecting it from him.

The officer added “You’re not ready; anybody wey no wan cooperate, we go leave am.” and moved on to the next person.
