The national union of ikwerre students worldwide condems the Killing of Protesting Students in Uniport Port Harcourt; Call for Investigation and Resignation of the Vice Chancellor.


The president Comr. Anele Christian while speaking to news men yesterday condemns in its entirety the killing of 3 students of the University of Port Harcourt who were on a peaceful protest.
We call on the human right activist, the Inspector General of Police and the Hon. Minister for Education to immediately identify and prosecute those who killed the innocent protesting students..
 
We are giving the vice chancellor 72hrs to resign since he could not manage a little and peaceful protest, we are calling on the Nans president, nurss president, all students union group in the country, parents, civil society organizations, lawyers, the international community etc to rise up to defend our hard earned democracy, if students on a peaceful protest could be shot at close range then there is trouble in the land, we are also using this medium to call on the police to immediately release all the students arrested.
