Oxford university student arrested on suspicion of ‘truly shocking’ sex attacks on woman
A BRILLIANT Oxford University student, 23-year-old is alleged to have left the fellow student “physically and psychologically scarred”.
Suspect was arrested at 6am on a boat in Christ Church Meadows near the university
He is a student at Christ Church College — the same hallowed seat of learning rocked by false rape allegations this year against debating society president Ben Sullivan.
A university source told The Sun last night: “The nature of the allegations are truly shocking.
“He is a highly intelligent young man.
“His arrest has shocked the university community.”
he is well known on campus but is “not in a position of power in any society at the university”.
In May last year Dr Alice Prochaska, principle at Oxford’s Somerville College, emailed undergraduates to warn that female students were facing “excessively harassing and intimidating behaviour”.
It came amid reports of coercion and groping at parties.
